✨ It’s Never Too Late to Care for Your Postpartum Body

I recently had the opportunity to host a workshop

I recently had the opportunity to host a workshop for mamas with little ones under two years old.
It reminded me — again — how much we as mothers often put ourselves at the very bottom of the priority list… especially when it comes to our physical care.

  • Responsibility for this tiny human’s life

  • Putting careers aside

  • Sleepless nights and days

  • Neck and shoulder pain becoming the new “normal”

  • Watching partners continue to grow professionally

  • Feeling grateful for motherhood, yet sensing the missed opportunities

We all have 24 hours.

But with a little one, those 24 hours never seem enough.

Looking back, the biggest challenge for me was letting go.
I gave everything to my kids, family, and work — but not to myself.

I missed the best window for postpartum recovery — those early months when our hormones naturally support our healing.

Back then, I didn’t know how much my physical care mattered… until I hit a wall. Actually, a few walls.

Recovery took time. But the truth is — it’s never too late.

Our bodies are truly incredible. Just as we can grow a human being inside us, we can rebuild balance and strength gently, step by step.

If you haven’t done much postpartum care yet, be patient.
Your body has been patient with you too.

And the good news is — recovery doesn’t need to be hard.

  • ✨ No squats (if you don’t want to)

  • ✨ No foam rollers

  • ✨ No heavy cardio

Just:
🌿 Unwind your fascia to create space
🌿 Let lymph flow and support natural detox
🌿 Allow blood to carry nutrients
🌿 Breathe deeply without force
🌿 Realign your pelvis and organs
🌿 Let your muscles return to their original function

It’s not about pushing harder.

It’s about giving your body space, gentle guidance, and the chance to do what it’s designed to do.

Even 5 minutes in bed can be a powerful start.

Unwind. Reconnect. Rebuild. 🌸

💛 Why I Share This

I believe this kind of postpartum care should be the standard, not something extra you have to fight to make time for.

It’s 2025. There’s nothing new about being pregnant, giving birth, and raising children.

But it’s still too common to hear the word “sacrifice” when talking about motherhood.

👉 More than 90% of postpartum women experience some kind of physical complaint.

👉 Most simply “push through” without proper care.

How long will we keep letting go like this?

We can change this.
We can make recovery, self-care, and physical well-being part of the normal conversation.

I learned it the hard way — and now I want to share it, so we can get better together and create a better future for all mamas. 🌿✨
